2009-2011

In response to producing glossy photographs in my colour darkroom, and becoming fixated on dust, scratches, correct exposure times - in fact all the careful preparation of making a clean print - I began to dislike the outcome. All the glass, the anti-static wipes, the clean polish of photography. Why?

Add to this an interest in the view finder, and the rectangle in a rectangle, of openings, doorways, sheds and out-houses, I began to work more physically on and beside the print.
