I bought a second hand 8ft x 10ft shed, a second hand De Vere enlarger, and a used Colenta processor. I fixed the shed - fitting it out with ventilation, insulation, electrics and water, and absolutely light tight. I learned to colour print. I even set up my Durst b&w enlarger, and printed b&w too. A friend loaned me his Morso mitre cutter. Side by side, in two sheds, I printed and framed my 20 x 24 inch prints. It was a fantastic money pit, but I continued nonetheless for four years, before selling everything on again, and taking the big shed to the local recycling centre.
