2020 - 2021

I don’t really think photography and painting combine well, but how to escape it as an idea that I’ve been clinging onto like a friend?

Here’s how I’ve managed to undo it. But I’ve had to work through it, so you’ll see the drawings begin with a photo and then a central rectangle, until it they too start to drop away in favour off the wiggles and the verticals.

Series 5 2020-21 - all paintings are 37 x 31 inches

Drawings 2020-21 - drawings are either 10 x 13 inches, 13 x 18 inches, 15 x 20 inches or 20 x 27 inches
