New York (Summer 1993)

Two months working the night shift stacking newspapers onto palettes at The Leicester Mercury, and then to America for a month.

Seville (Spring 1994)

Student living was typically messy, my house mates had gone home, and I had a three-week break over Easter. So I hitch-hiked from Leicester to Seville to visit my brother, and then a bit further to Vejer de la Frontera. I spent six days driving in lorries watching the countryside opening up before me, and saw the Semana Santa de Sevilla and the Toro Embolao. Two days to get there, four to get back.
